Blue Light Therapy for Allergies

Blue light therapy is proving to be beneficial in a multitude of aspects of treating the human body. Many people with clinical depression have had their lives changed by these lights and their versatility is becoming more and more evident as studies continue. Very simply, our bodies react in different ways to different light. We release certain chemicals in response to certain colors and wavelengths. Therefore we have more control over many aspects of our body function with a light that does not contain any radiation or other damaging types of light or wavelength.
Because our body’s defense system reacts differently to different chemicals and contaminants, we end up with allergy symptoms including rashes, ichy eyes, runny noses and sneezing so hard we’re sure we’re going to find a toenail in the Kleenex. Light therapy can help us with this in a number of ways. Light therapy directly applied to skin can help in quickening the production of collagen which will help our skin repair itself. Light therapy can also boost our immune system so that it can deal with contaminants on a more productive level. While blue light therapy works very well for skin allergies, red light therapy has been shown to improve blood flow and suppress the cells that release histamine which causes runny nose, itchy eyes and sneezing. As light therapy technology continues to produce amazingly positive results, we will be able to help our bodies function at more optimal limits with the natural aid of lights.
