For years, doctors have been telling us that laugher is the best medicine.  It is a cure for almost any ailment.  And, maybe it will not take the pain fully away, but laughter will definitely help with the problem at hand.  It can be invigorating and laughter will definitely help you to recharge your emotional battery – especially if you are suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder.


Studies Indicate There Is Power In Laughter


Everyone knows that it can be fun to get together and laugh with your friends.  A good time laughing can make any day better.  According to studies, laughter is actually good for your brain, your health, and your immune system.  In addition, laughter is a mood stimulator.  This is one of the reasons that laughing can help those of you who are struggling with SAD.

SAD is a real disease.  It is common for individuals to suffer from this type of depression during the winter and unfortunately too few people receive treatment for their SAD symptoms.  If you are struggling with SAD, make sure that you talk to a doctor.  Also, try to remain positive and laugh.  It will make a big difference in helping you emotionally during this difficult time.
