I use this light each winter here in the Memphis, TN area. Our winters are very gray. I place it on the vanity while I am getting ready for work or sit it on the breakfast table while I drink my coffee. It definitely lifts my mood for the day. It feels like I have been in the sunshine instead of walking under clouds. (Posted on 10/26/10)

I'm a 100% Verilux fan! This lamp and their other products have really helped me recover from SAD. I used to extend my sleep four hours and binge on fast food just to get by every day. Once I started using this lamp, and some of the floor lamps, my mood has become lighter. This one generates a very bright white light that really illuminates my room. Try it yourselves, guys. You'll love it just like I do!

I live up in Vancouver and wanted to get one of these, as we have a lot of cloudy days here in the winter, and I get really down and moody in the winter here (which last for like 4 mos or more). I just got it yesterday, so no idea how long it takes to achieve its overall effect. I just wanted to say that I thought the design and build construction was great, and it looks kind of cool and futuristic in my apartment (some of the other ones are pretty ghastly). Its very bright, not the yellow light I expected but a very bright white lite, which is actually quite pleasant. (I thought it might be irritating like a fluorescent light). Im going to try to use it in the mornings while im emailing before work. Ill review again when I ive had more experience with it. If I think its working, then ill replace all my lamps with full spectrum lightbulbs. (Posted on 9/22/08)
