I'm 70 years old, and this lamp helps me at night when I organize my stamp collection. I've long had SAD symptoms, but I didn't get diagnosed 'til about five years ago. Now I'm loads better with the Brookfield Full Spectrum lamp in my bedroom. The kids in the house, they often play with the switches, so make sure you place yours in a safe area where kids can't reach it. I recommend this lamp to any SAD patient who needs a reading lamp.
